Carp Fishing Holiday

I want to go for a weeks fishing with my wife and kids. My wife is not keen on tents so we would need somewhere with a chalet or caravan arrangement right next to the lake, this way I can fish at the same time as being with the kids. Anyone know of a good place like this, either in the UK or France?

Oh, there's also La Croix Vu Point, just outside Paris, an hour drive to disney and Park Asterix from it.
