Europe's Rivers get bad report card

In the course of my work, I subscribe to the web site: www.waternet.com A report has just appeared strongly criticising the poor ecological quality of some of Europe's rivers. The Trent, Severn, and Dee are mentioned.

I think this report is worth reading

Ron not read it yet, but I always find it weird that in the past you had anglers complaining about water pollution and the amount of muck in our rivers then in the last few years the table has turned to us complaining about lack of fry due to rivers becoming too clean! Now it seems that they are too dirty again - seems people have trouble making their minds up ?!

...just thought it might spark some debate.....
