can I stop me maggots floating?

I have had a small accident. brought it on myself to be fair.

my maggot fridge is broken, so my bright idea was to freeze a food bag of water and store it in the bait box. worked a treat, really shocked how well it did work actually hehe. but then disaster strikes, the bag popped! now I got half a pint of floating maggots and possibly a cancelled morning trip to the canal :'(

I have dried them off and my question is will they return to sinkers or can I do summat to change em back?

failing that I guess I cud mash them up and pole cup them in..

shouldn't this thread be in bait box ?

i did think about it

but i am 0 for 1 at putting things in bait boxes today
