spodding

What are the members thoughts on spodding in the winter or summer.

Also has anyone any info on a fishery called Manor Farm near Biggleswade,eg:
baits and swims.

spodding's just a means to get freebies around the hookbait, i do it any time of year it needs it.

the thing with spodding is that you don't need to spod out 3 gallons every time.

You can put out two half filled spods of chopped boilie and pellet, equivalent to 2 PVA bags.

So yes, if bait is required and I think that spodding will put the bait in the spot to best effect, then I will use it, summer, winter, lake, river, canal, whatever.
