i posted a thread a few days ago re my computer and recived some good advice .
i was told to download spybot; as a newcomer to computers i did this but there is someone out there conning people because you have got to pay to remove this program so just to warn everyone BE CAREFUL IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING (LIKE ME)

sorry im late responding only just come back from a do ;i typed into google (spybot )and the first one that came up stated spybot free down load ;so automatically i pressed this one notunderstanding fully what i had selected and ended up with a download called spykiller thus giving me the problem stated in my thread (check out spybot.eon.net.au ) for full details

You can delete spykiller by going into control panel --add remove programmes --and do it from there

I did it myself yesterday ..I was fed up getting the pop-up asking you to send money for the full copy

make sure you delete the registry entries though (be careful adults, make sure you have a kid to supervise) - add/remove programs doesn't always totally remove things...
