Emblem's?

Hi all.

Does anyone have experience of the Daiwa Emblem X Big Pit's? If so, could you offer your opinions here please?

Hi Malcolm,I use the Emblem`s x 4500`s,not the biggest pits, I find them very sturdy work horse`s,Ive had mine about 4year`s,paid top doller then but now the price as dropped well down.

Cheers Les. The one's I have in mind are the EMX5000A - possibly a little bigger than the 4500's, but I'm not sure?

had emblem s5000t's since they came out, still using them for all my fishing! get the baitrunner adaptors.

Can't you get on with them without then Frothy?

Thought about the Shimano Long-Casts, but fancy a change from baitrunners!!!

I had a set of EMX5000A's
Absolutely stunning reel.
Very big, quite heavy, amazing engineering.
Chopped them in for 10000xt BTR's

got 2 long casts and not had any problems with em apart from the ?35 for a spare spool that is.

I managed to buy 4 lc's at 500 quid and two spare spools thrown in at my local tackle shop.

got 2 for 170 quid when they were first released and on offer wouldn't pay the prices they went back up too though, the boss would be chasing me round with sharp things looking for dangly bits to chop off if i did.
