One thing we must all understand, and I've learned this after 15 years of using computers, mainly at work.
They are not perfect!
It will take many years before computers will really perform as we want them to, if ever!
The systems today are designed, in many ways, to crash occasionally; and to go slow; and not to give full satisfaction. There is a very good reason for this:
The industry!
It employs millions of people world wide who spend vast amounts of hours fixing systems, and they earn big money doing so.
It does not pay to have a computer system that is totally user friendly. A certain amount of mystique must always exist.
It's the same reason why they do not build cars that last 30 years without maintenance (although it could be done), nor have cars that run on water.
Vested interests chaps.
That's why computer systems are designed to crash. Ask Bill Gates. That's why he is the richest man in the world.
