Word on the street is solar are entering the alarm market with a top end product. Interchangable fascias, sim cards even automatic torch light facility when you get a bite. These things are going to make old alarms look like the house brick mobiles from the 80's.

Seen them advertised in the angling press Cakey....look good but what on earth is that massive lump thats supposed to go on the rod-tips ? Seems to me that it could be more trouble than it's worth with the potential for the line to wrap round it and cause plenty of crack-offs if people don't notice.

What, those things that went off if the wind blew and made no sound when the Mitchell 300 churned off - happy days but no thanks mate !
