Very interesting mate. Many similarities can be drawn except the cars and boat.

I also noticed in your story that you served on H.M.S. Fearless. I thought Uncle Albert sank that when he slammed it into a 42,000 ton US aircraft carrier. Couldn't understand the radar, it was all blibs and blobs... Was that the ship? Any dents around the pointed end?

I didn't see a lot of the pointed end as I was usually directing helicopters at the blunt end and keeping well away from uncle Albert.
