Hi, ive got a couple of these rods, use them mainly for stillwater legering with buzzers, i just wondered, does anyone know what the test curve of the quivertip section is please? it looks quite sensitive possibly 1 to 1.5oz to me. Just need to know as im finding my usual small river rod a bit too stiff on the new section of river im targeting and im debating whether to use the bowler rod instead!

Thanks in advance!

Try it on the river James, and see how the tip behaves. Although this will depend on conditions.
I have used a Dam Winklepicker in the past with a light tip.

James just thread the line and hang weight of the end till it bends through 90 degrees. This will give you the test curve.
