carp on fly rod

anyone ever had any carp on a fly rod

Never tried it but I have always fancied fly fishing dog biscuits to take Carp off the top.

all i can say is down some red bull strap your self in and hold on tight !
make sure you have a good waight rod strong line and balls of steel cos the fight is amazing.
after that go try a barbel on a fly rod !

ive already had 2 carp on a 4 waight rod and line.the first a 17 pound mirror,didnt fight that well but then i had a 17 and a half pounder on the same gear,HOLY MOLY,25 mins it took me to get it in exellent.

Yep. Thoroughly recommend it ! Especially as a cost effective way for a beginner to learn to fly cast and get some exciting sport.....
