Cheers

Why do you want a zipped bottom? Quicker release perhaps...?

Prefer a carpsack myself for the bigger fish.

Yes for quicker release but for loads of carp in the 2-4lb class in matches in Spain where I'm moving to. I've seen them pouring them into the weight net 4-5 at a time and feel it'd be better for the fish if the net was zipped bottom.

Cheers

Take a standard net cut bottom ring off, put a few rings around the loose end of the net, insert draw string - and bobs your uncle. Safer than a zip.

Hi andy,

Thanks for the reply. It didn't necessarily have to be a zip but I'm sure I saw nets some time ago that has this option and can'tbelieve they're no longer available,

Cheers

Hi eaglet, have not seem myself but very new back on the fishing seen so might well be something out there. Certainly seems like a good idea - but woe is he who forgets to close the end!
