While sorting out my fishing gear that I’ve not used for at least 4 years I have found some bait and want to know if it’s worth risking using it?

I’m thinking the pellets may be a no but thought it best to check.

I have..

A large unopened tin of pre prepared hemp . There are no dates on it. How long will hemp like that last?

Betaine pellets kept in a re sealable bag inside a sealed bait bucket

Ocean fresh shelf life boilies, opened but then kept in a sealed bag inside a sealed bait bucket

Loose mixed pellets kept in a sealed bait bucket

What do you think?

Thanks.

I was just concerned about filling a swim full of potentially gone off pellets that’s all.

Stick the lot in a big bucket and ferment with sugar and yeast for a few weeks in a warm place, stick on a lid and fit a fermentation trap to prevent vinegar fly.
The alcohol should kill off most potentially unsafe pathogens present. :w

use as a spod mix or add to groundbaits etc.
