Any recommended brands? I do not want to use a carp F/C like IQ as this is for tench fishing at 6lb and 8lb bs?

I've used Virage in the 5lb BS for tench this season and lastand I've also used it in 10lb BS for barbel for a bit longer and had no problems.

I've used Ultimate in strengths of 2lb up to 12lb. Cannot say that I've caught more fish, but I have caught and had no problems with it.

Try Fulling Mill.About the cheapest but often comes out well in tests done by the trout boys at whom it is marketed.
