Home made floats

Hi All.

I'm keen to make my own floats. I can get the quills (Crow, Goose et al) but I'm unable to find ready made bodies. Can anyone help?

Ernie, get some balsa dowelling from a model shop in different diameter's, it's easier to work with than cork as well. Sharp scalpel blade and fine glasspaper.

Good prices, superb quality and next day turn around. If Carlsberg did float making supplies....

Give it a couple of months and it will soon be time to start collecting the elder pith for making floats over the winter.
