Anyone know any sharp hook to nylons, the ones I have by BGT are blunt as anything!?

Drennan, Kamasan or Mustad, you can guarantee that any of the models from these three brands are going to be sharp and of top quality, although you are allways going to get the odd few that slip through the net (no pun intended! 
)

Kamasan for me too.
I don't think I've ever had a "bad'un" but sadly cannot say the same for Drennan who I would not recommend.

Hook penetration is directly related to wire thickness.
You can push the blunt end of a matchstick into your leg but not a broomstick.
Of all the hooks Ive measured those from Kamasan have the finest wire diameter.
Get yourself a fine stone or a diamond nailfile to touch to point up after every few fish and bin the hook at the end of the day and you wont go far wrong.
Learn to use a hook-tier and make up your own 'hooks to nylon' at home, saves time AND money and you get the exact hook pattern you want.
If it helps, I use Kamasan B711 size 11 and Berkley clear 4lb mono for everything.
Oh and a matchman hook-tier
