Does anyone own this rod? Is it light enough to hold for extended periods?

I'm after a small river chub and roach rod, but 6lb line is a requirement. The rod is my perfect length I'm just concerned over it's lightness?

Thanks.

If it was a float rod I'd understand your concern but feeder rods generally are put in rests between casting and retrieving? Why would you need to hold it for extended periods...?

Re:C?

You may also want to Google "Drennan 7 puddle chucker 10' feeder rod reviews" they're not always useful but some are. Then I agree with the above post that a 10ft rod shouldn't be heavy and I've never myself or seen anyone holding a feeder rod for any long periods.

It's an absolute cracking rod. I use it for commercials only though, for match carp.

Light enough to hold, yes, no problem.

Could see it being ok for chub, but it's over gunned for Roach.
