Free Spirit v Korum

I'm in the market for 2 of either the F.S 12ft Specialist or the Korum Xpert.
Free Spirits reputation speaks for itself,building a quality rod and the Korum has had some good reviews.Do I go with what I know,or plumb for the Korum ?
As I've a back-up pair of 2lb t.c Powermesh for the big(gish) chuck I'm edging on the F.Spirits but any advice greatly appreciated.Tight Lines ??????
The F.Spirits are 1.5 and tge Korum is 1.75lb t.c

I think Sam Vines is well up on the free spirit rods.

I'm not well enough acquainted with either the FS Specialist or the Korum Xpert to pass comment on either. I've no idea if they are even at comparable price points. If I were making the choice, even as uninformed as I am in this instance, I'd lean towards the FS. I like the FS rods I own (or have used) more than the Korums I own (or have used).

Have a look at the 10' 1.75 lb Nash Scope. The best rod in that t/c I've ever owned. If you Google Duncan Charman you will see a review. So slim, cork handle to.

Casts to the moon and back, wonderful action packs to 50''. I love the pair I've brought. Tench, bream perch, even carp.

Worth a look if your not casting over 80 yards.

Free Spirit make excellent rods but their after sales service is absolutely awful. I would never buy another rod from them.

Well, in the end,plumped for the F.S Specialist
One rod was fine,but the other had a tip section with mismatched guides.
Replacement on its way so not too bad.Saying that,it will be custom build from now on
