Just go for the old round style dropper I have bought in the past the tear drop type which have the interchangeable weights, the cheap set of 3 round are just as good.

They all do the same thing and you’re not worried if you lose one

When we were kids we used to make them out of the old cheery blossom tins

For the past several years I have used the Seymo droppers without ever a problem.

They come in three sizes which are convenient depending on what baits you need to feed.

I’ve got two.

A large one about 4/5” across, its too big to use with an Avon rod to be honest, only any use in the margin. This is the same style as pictured above.

Then I have a more practical one about 2” across, tbh though I’ve still not used it. This is plastic and much lighter/quieter and made by Dinsmore.

Rarely do I use a stopper these days, opting for PVA.

I have tried a few bait droppers but they all kept releasing too soon or not at all. The best baitdropper I have was knocked together for me by my good friend.. I wouldnt be surprised if I get shunned for using such a contraption but it works a treat and i love it. Just realized you cant see the back in the pics but he attached a chunk of cork onto it. 101.jpg102.jpg Thanks again T
