    That will explain the weight then, cheers mark for clearing that up, I just remember reading xxx carbon when I bought it, so I've never experienced a full carbon pole then, I will have to put that on my list :-)

    Go for the best you can afford and what your style of fishing is, Its no good getting an all out power pole if you only fish a canal. You need an all round pole, one that has a couple of match kits and a couple of power kits, and possibly a cupping kit, You missed out the other week, I sold a 16 metre with 7 topkits and cupping kit for £200. Wasnt using it so off it went, cost £1500 new, I bought it 2nd hand.

    Go on the beginners and improves thread and state what you type of fishing is and ask general question on what's best pole to get , dont forget to include your budget, More members will read that thread than a tackle review thread such as this.
