unhooking mats

Ive got a cheap CK mat but the beads have got squashed after years of use.what puffa mat is worth getting?.Thank You for any help

It is a very important peice of kit the unhooking mat which is often brought with little or no thought. Fish care should be veryones first and foremeost priority, with this in mind alway try and buy the largest ( surface area) and deepest ( Padding ) you can afford.

Like this Chub unhooking mat. Always have a bucket of water next to the mat ready to wet the mat and the fish, also have fish care products, forecips weight sling and scales next to the mat rerady to be used. Never leave the fish unattended and only keep the fish out of the water for the shortest possible time.

Without fish fishing is called camping so look after every fish you catch as they are or future.

hi bud why not go for one of the craddles great bits of kit with total protection and with a cover which velcros down so if you need to leave the fish for a moment its totally safe inside
