looking for carp rods with nice fish playing action

I'm looking for a nice pair of 2.75lb carp rods. I want one with a nice soft fish playing action and not one that is as stiff as a poker.

Can someone recommend a decent rod? Looking to spend up to £200 for the pair.

I'm a bit of a tackle tart so ideally the rod needs to be nice and thin!

If you don't mind second hand rods, the Shimano Tribal XT in 2.75lb (about 3 - 5 years old) are very nice, with a lovely soft action but power lower down if needed, problem is they don't come up very often and reach a good price when they do, but worth looking out for.

I'm old school - anything over 2.5lb TC feels like a broom handle to me. 2.75lb TC is a catfish rod Handy for long range casting I know but nowhere near as good fun as a light rod for playing the fish
