One reviewer, Carl Pepper, panned these because the soles fell off, and quite right too.
But I do know that they had a bad batch when they first came out that hadn't had the soles welded to the uppers correctly. Chub withdrew the stocks of these and replaced them with good ones.
However, a number of pairs did reach the market and it looks like Carl must have been one of the unfortunate ones.
I'm sure Chub would have been only too happy to replace them had Carl contacted them. Carl?
