If you have always fancied going back to a mellower style of fishing, or finding a special rod for a special place, then we have a great range of vintage cane and glass rods that you might like to have a look at. I'll pick out a few below just for your interest but it's worth a browse on our Thomas Turner online store just to see what we have.

You can also click on any of the titles below to see more photos of each rod or to buy online via our store today!

Hardy Matchmaker 14 feet 3 piece Rod - £175.00
A fibre glass Hardy Matchmaker rod – 14 feet (427cm) long in 3 pieces and with its Hardy rod bag.
Marked with EV6061 on the rod blank above the handle.
Super clean cork, nice bright orange whippings against a dark brown blank and agate lined butt guide and tip ring.
There is some rod rash along the blank in places as to be expected from light use but nothing major.
Still a very nice looking and usable rod.
Condition: A/B

R. Chapman and Co - The Peter Stone Ledgerstrike Rod - £295.00

Two piece cane ledger rod with agate lined butt guide and tip ring, dark Burgundy whippings and intermediates. All rod rings including the tip are of the stand-off style to keep the line away from the rod.
Two sliding collar reel seats on top of very clean 27″ cork handle.
Lovely straight rod and very usable still for a fun session down the river.
