A few years ago I won a reel from an old fishing forum that no longer exists, and I’ve kept it in my holiday static caravan for using at a small pond which has some smallish Carp in it; which is only about 100 mtrs from my static holiday caravan.

I have never heard of the make of reel (FRISK) and I realise that it isn’t going to be an expensive reel, but it has 7 bearings (6+1) and it seems to be not too bad a reel at all in use; although I’ve only used it now and then when I’ve been at the caravan; and It’s line lay is quite good too.
I’m not too keen on its wooden handle knob though :)

I’ve often wondered about this reel (see pic) and where it originates from, so I just want to ask if any of you know about this make of reel and what country it originates from?

It looks almost identical to an Okuma that I have, Keith.....though my reel isn't blue and the handle is different. In fact it looks very Okuma-ish all round. I suspect that's what it is but in different livery. Got a look of the original Okuma Epix about it.
