BIG PERCH Challenge:- the results....

Restrictions and limited travel obviously hampered this, the tenth annual challenge, but perch were caught where possible.

This time a fish from the river Dearne in South Yorkshire fell to a Z man trd lure.

Congratulations Phil Heaton, your 3:4:0 perch takes the top spot.

Runners up are Ian g 3:1:0 and David Rogers 2:14:0.

I’m really pleased but sorry to say the perch fishing went downhill from there. I’ve struggled to catch anything if any size since due to Covid and rain cocking up the rivers.

Michael , if your catching 1lb perch you never know what will turn up next . I managed two 3lb fish last season and both turned up among other much smaller fish
