A few times last year I was passed by on the river Lot by a custom built angling boat, Carp Pirates Adventures. I only recently found out the owner of this business lives about a five minute drive from me. Sally and I met up with him in Limogne and he came across as a genuine and enthusiastic angler, busy renovating a property but he is still finding time to catch carp himself.
I think I have done a little to promote the river Lot fishing on a few forums, it really is fantastic! From what I have seen of David and his boat I would recommend the outfit as a luxury fishing option for anyone contemplating a visit.
