Shall we have a go starting with Chernobyl?
I'd rather get shut of these down the road from me ?.
I'm not a hundred percent sure they are in cherney.

The best their is in my opinion, better than a scientist can predict with their computer models and number crunching etc. I am sure this is the case with the sea, we know what's going on long before they do and I am pretty sure it is the same to what's happening in our rivers.I do stress this is not based on anything scientific just a layman anglers view of it.
Steady on old chap.Good grief!!!! Unless I am mistaken we all actually agree on something!?
One problem I do have however,is knocking one on the head,I do not agree with humans interfering with nature, but we are responsible for their introduction....
You should try reading up in Beverton Holt model and the foundation of fisheries science. The best their is in my opinion, better than a scientist can predict with their computer models and number crunching etc. I am sure this is the case with the sea, we know what's going on long before they do and I am pretty sure it is the same to what's happening in our rivers.
Knocking fish on the head isn't something we do in this country so we will keep on returning them. Who is going to be the first of us to knock a 50lb catfish on the head and throw it up the bank like some anglers still do with Pike.

The problem is not the science, it’s the political will to implement policy (See 2020).
I won't return one if I'm unfortunate enough to catch one.Knocking fish on the head isn't something we do in this country so we will keep on returning them. Who is going to be the first of us to knock a 50lb catfish on the head and throw it up the bank like some anglers still do with Pike.
Would you have a problem shooting a rat Alan?
why don't we shoot the human who was responsible for the catfish's introduction...

I don't think you could, cruelty issues would creep up on you...
