I was in starbucks yesterday when I noticed there free garden coffee meant for plants and gardening. All the spent coffee is put into bags and given away for nothiing. I took a bag home and added a few handfulls to some brown crumb I had wizzed up and I think its going to work a treat. It smells quite strong and has turned the mix black I'm gonna give it a go at the weekend in a feeder with some corn.

I would be interested to hear how you get on as I work on-board Virgin Trains and discard a lot of used coffee grounds and have never thought of using it as a groundbait additive.

I will probably have to check whether I would be committing a sin by removing it from a train but as it cannot be used for anything else but, hey-ho.

i dont know really, i havent tried it.

Give it a go i spose - although it would be a bit expensive if you couldn't get it for free.
