Where I live we have ready access to trout, sea trout and my own personal favourite big perch.
I haven’t targeted the eels (we have 2 flavours - long fin and short fin), slimy buggers. But I did see one on a local reservoir that was at least 4foot long and as thick s my bicep. Bugger that.
there are waters further north (Christchurch) with tench, roach and Rudd as I understand it.
