Rare opportunity to purchase a piece of angling history, this Hardy Richard Walker Reservoir Superlite rod was given by Richard Walker to his late son Tim Walker in the early eighties. We bought this rod and two others from his widow Lynn Walker on the 30th July, 2020 at her home in Biggleswade.

Lynn has provided a handwritten letter of provenance to this effect and a facsimile copy of the original letter will come this rod. Photographs of Lynn writing the provenance with rods alongside is shown in one of the images. The rod is a well-used example, 9,3" two-piece brown hollow fiberglass, looks like the tip section had been replaced as and the silk shade is slightly out, either way, the ferrule fits together correctly as it should, line rated #7/8 with a Garcia line label sticker above original extension plug in handle included. Rod No E/Y The rod is as we bought it, not cleaned or altered in any way and comes with the Hardy original fitted cloth bag

I spent a considerable with Lynn looking through other Walker memorabilia and having meant Pat Walker in the past, it’s a joy to meet more of the family members.
