A stunning Hardy “The Palakona” 8’9”, 2 piece split cane trout fly rod, in as new condition, one of the finest examples I’ve seen, line rate #7, light straw colour cane, guides whipped red, tipped green, bronze ferrule with alloy stopper, 7” cork handle still shrink-wrapped, light alloy up screw reel fitting, the rod is arrow straight, ferrule good and tight, beautiful rod to use, cost over £2,000 to have built today with a long waiting list, making this excellent value, comes in maker’s original cloth bag.
