New member. I have fished since I was about 8, now I am 53, started fishing at a small pond at Allhallows in Kent then progressed onto the River medway mainly Maidstone upto Yalding, trotting for all species. Then got into Carp fishing for a number of years and caught some lovely fish here and in France. Lost interest with all the kit involved with Carp fishing so got into lure fishing which allowed short quick hit fishing. Currently back on the Medway on the upper reaches fishing for Chub and hopefully a Barbel, using bread and spam with simple tackle, split shot and a hook is all I generally use, roving tactics and after work sessions perfect to get my fishing fix.
