Job opportunity with Thomas Turner

Due to expansion, we are looking for a new member to join our busy team at Thomas Turner. The role will involve photographing and listing fishing tackle and books for sale online, dealing with customer queries and orders, and packaging and posting items.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

• A love of fishing tackle and good working knowledge of modern and retro tackle
• Excellent spelling and grammar skills and the ability to write clear, concise, and accurate descriptions
• Good IT skills, as the role will involve using the internet and website software. Full software training can be provided if required
• A good team player, scrupulously honest and trustworthy
• Photography skills would be an advantage.

This role would suit a tackle enthusiast, perhaps someone who has experience working in a tackle shop, or for an online retail store. Job shares will also be considered, so please contact us if you have a friend or partner who could work with you. If you have a small amount of storage space at home this would be an advantage.

Ideally the role would be home-based, preferably in Sussex although we will consider applicants from anywhere in the UK.
