I had the entirely unexpected pleasure this afternoon, in meeting the fishing living legend, that is Dave Coster.
I have been an admirer of his work with hardy and had almost all of his creations in the supero 11/12' range at one time or another, including a few marksman too. I have very happy recollections of fiesty mid double commons testing the ultralite bomb to, I thought, imminent destruction but the rod always won.
Not only a fishing legend but a gentleman too as when I asked if he was as delighted in meeting the leg-end that is me, as I was in meeting him, he gave me a nice smile!
