Having spent the last 20 years or so chasing Carp & Barbel I am slowly returning to general fishing for whatever comes along.
My local river has a good head of Silvers , Perch , Bream and the odd Tench.
All the feeder rods that I own are too powerful for catching these and I wondered if any of you would have recommendations for a 'modern' light feeder rod?
The ones I keep looking at are for commercial carp fishing , there must be something out there suitable.
Money wise would consider any rod up to about £75.
Many thanks.

Slightly over your budget but I bought one of these recently and it’s a joy to use catching silvers.

I have 2 of the Drennan original bomb rods 10ft and 11ft versions, lovely rods for the type of fishing you want to do. You might find the odd one on ebay.

I can't disagree with any of the above. If you want a short rod ie 8' the Browning F1 wand is a delight to use and weighs nothing but can handle F1,s and équivalent. About £60. If i was buying another I'd get the Browning recommended by S63. I have too many feeder rods however.
