me and the mrs are thinking on moving from the thames valley down to cornwall at some point in the next year and i am going to be on the lookout for a decent club to join.
my ideal water would be a mid to large sized pit or reservoir (6-18 acre) and my targets would be carp to over 20lbs and the good chance of hooking a 30lbs. also i am after a water holding a good head of pike to over 20lbs. i enjoy the odd session on lighter tackle going for the bream and tench. also if the lake held a few nice sized cats it would be a huge benefit
i am not after a runs water or a commercial fisherie of any sort if its got a club house that serves bacon butties frankly i dont want to know, im after a nice quiet place to go and chill out and forget that society is even in the background.
