I'm still trying (very trying some would say!) but learning a huge amount about editing, underwater and sound capture. Frighteningly easy to spend a fortune on equipment, too, and I thought fishing gear was expensive. Here's last week's effort.

Weirpool dace and roach fishing
I really enjoyed your short films Mark, the bit of underwater was interesting a shame you didn't get your hook bait in the shot. Roach are a favourite for me. I don't seem to attract bigger fish. There are an endless supply of smaller samples where I fish, that suits me just fine. I must admit to dabbling with carp occasionally but the feeling soon wears off and the pull roach even small roach gets the better of me.
Mark, your films are a refreshing change from the normal youtube that every man and his dog make.
As for Whitehouse and Mortimer, they make a decent programme to me. OK, they fish a little but the programme is mostly just a couple of blokes chatting who have a bit of a laugh while doing a bit of fishing.

Thank you for your kind comments. I had problems with a leak on my underwater camera casing so had less footage than I hoped. The river has cleared a lot in the last week so hopeful of doing filming this week; underwater really does need very clear water. When things improve covid-19 wise a couple of people are interested in helping with filming so the chance of dynamic camera work in stead of static shots. I have a load of ideas in my mind....

Steve, I do have a bait apron now, yet to try it out.

Although quite mild outside at 17.5 degrees, it is persisting down so i've dug out my passion dvds and atm i'm watching autumn glory.
Funny how I never tire of watching this series, I can't think of anything I don't like about it. The music, the commentery, the way it's filmed is just excellent.
For me it's the best angling programe/series ever to be produced and i'm quite confident it will never be bettered!
Totally agree ?
