Works finally started after the fishery has been closed for two years, and the fish removed, supposed to be chalets all round the lake when it’s finished, there was a large pump going, looks like there emptying it.

Never a favourite of mine, to much traffic noise, I like it peaceful and quiet when I’m fishing.

From the M65? I am sure it will look more inviting than that when finished! I cannot say I would fancy a chalet there!

very true , I live on the other side of the hill and the weather is worse on our side
frozen cold hole and I have never heard of it fishing well

Yes that’s the trouble with this part of the country, it’s the humidity more than the cold, it’s that damp cold that gets into your bones,, not pleasant when it’s like that.

on a clear day you can see blackpool tower from the top , if you have the stamina to treck up there

It's hard to get there, couse i broke my leg a few weekas ago. And this covid situation(

Just a bit of an update, this fishery is now up for sale for one and a quarter million pounds.
Anyone fancy paying that for it.
There is planning permission for a leisure centre and chalets.

Bit of an update, they are working on the place again, and have named it Pendle view holiday park.
