Section of Fishery or river stretch:Middle Thurne, Potter Heigham
Date:21-28/10/06
Time fished:Dawn-dusk
Weather conditions:some heavy rain but mainly overcast
Water conditions:not known
Air temperature:not known
Water Temperature:
Bait:Maggots, groundbait, worms, corn
Method:Feeder
Results:Tonnes of roach, 1 x 3lb carp, loads of skimmer bream, loads of perch one of specimen size
Brief description of the session & remarks:River was in great condition. tried a bit of piking with no results. due to the wind we lost 4 lures and about 2 deadbaits. This section of the river is great before 9am and after 6pm due to the boats being out all day. Some of the boat owners/drivers have total disrespect for anglers and come along quite close to the bank. Ideal as you can fish from garden of the cottages. Lathams tackle shop is a five minute walk which is really handy.
