i've just started another thread asking how you do it.
i can do a pendulum cast pretty well but explaining the finer details is probably beyond my experience.

in general you start off with a long line from the tip, off the ground the whole time.
you then start the loading phase, which is a swing back in the opposite direction to which you want to cast.
from there in a smooth motion set off on the forward cast but you have to rotate the whole top of your body.
then it's a hammer on the end.
there's lots of places it can go wrong and when it does it's a bit spectacular.
there's a possibility that if it goes wrong in the right place the line can snap and the rig flies off down the beach / backwards anywhere really. but once you've got it right the thing flies for miles.
it's the cast that the tournament beach casters use for getting 300 yards.
it's deffinitely not one to attempt practising when there is anyone else around.

i seen that one done on the beech, but didnt know what it was.
