Yesterday I collected 3 shimano rods, 2 aspire float rods and a Speedcast feeder,
On putting them together, I found them to be well made, very light even the 15' - 17' float rod, it seems as light as some 13' rods I have handled.
The feeder seems to have a good action just by holding the butt and getting someone to pull tip round, The rings near the butt are similar in size to a carp rod, not like some feeder rods i have seen.
The main test will be when I use them, I will post how the feel under actual fishing conditions

The aspire range are some of the best rods shimano have ever made.
Been on the hunt for one of their barbel rods for a long time

Both the Aspires are brand new ,the 15' - 17' rod has a spliced tip, this was done for a shimano sponsored angler but never collected.
The 12' - 13' Speedcast feeder rod was Jan Porters, he field tested it before general release, got extra white tips that he preferred.
