Anyone know where I can buy the screw threaded ends that screw into the tip ring for making swing tips?
Thanks for any help.

Car boot would be a worthwhile try unless you are looking to stockpile the entire supply and corner the market when they get pushed as the new big thing again. Last time I used the swingtip on a club water I was laughed at!

Thank you very much. I must have googled the wrong search terms because nothing came up.

Swing tips are trendy again! TriCast have started making (very expensive) swing tip rods once more. - Trilogy x4 Specialist Feeder Rods - Tri-Cast Fishing

How much?
£250 seems a lot to me. I'll keep going with my old cork handled unbranded 70's throwback. I might be prepared to see it go for say a ton! Any takers other than the mickey variety?

It would be interesting to see how the swingtip performed with braid, anyone tried it?

I don't think that it would make any difference as far as registering bites. The pull against the tip wouldn't be enough to stretch mono so no advantage would be gained.

Hi if you can get the swing rubber all you need to do it heat the top eye and it will just slip off the rod place on the rubber and use an old quiver tip and cut it down to something like 12 inch and put it in other end of rubber one swingtip rod if you don't want to do it like that just buy a cheap screw in q tip and cut it an inch from the thread pop rubber on it hope this helps

Fair point. But the strike would generate more impact if you used braid. I'll be that if Ivan Marks had used braid he wouldn't have had to fall off the back of his basket when striking :D
