We all might/would when we start out Mike, the big issues are shown from the river stretch I fished yesterday, boards full of rules, unhooking mats compulsory, even though the anglers i'm talking about do not know to pick a landing net from the spreader block area when larger fish are landed,so have no control over the fish when it clatters about on the mat,the fishery bailiff said it was nice to see I was resting my barbel well before returning them,I bloody hope so,ive only been fishing for them them for what seems like centuries,lol...

One of my clubs has , for the first time in my memory, halted all further memberships until 2021 and created a waiting list. I can only assume that it has had a flurry of members since lockdown. Strange really but joining makes financial sense as I have said several times in a variety of posts.
Lymm AC has started a waiting list for next year, It had one over 30 years ago when it was an " elite" type of club to get in.
