Was "Trying" Out my Underwater Water Wolf Camera System!
On this day I wanted to try one of my UW camera systems Water Wolf. You have to measure the correct subject distance to lens or it won't work. You also need to know the exact ingot weights needed to use or the angles will be all wrong. To most UW videographers they'll understand why i chose this type of environment for today. Man was it COLD.
I used an 11ft Daiwa Coastal that was shipped to me free by Daiwa for work i've done for them. I combined it with my mothballed Shimano Twin Powers 5000. The graduations on this spinner isn't as gradual as expected. It's like jumping from warp1 directly to warp3 in one click with no gradual rise. But a friend of mine said that his unit is exactly like mine. So because of this it's now a "power reel" when needed for UW cams to plugging.
There was a time when i was one of the minorities that used UW cams. Glad to see others are following & learning.
