A fine cast Barbel in the style of Cooper mounted in a glass bow front gilt lined wooden case
measuring 27” x 12” x 6-1/2”, glazed side panel, blue back drop and fully reeded over gravel and foliage base,
paper label to inside top left reads
“ Barbel, caught by S.D Walker River Avon, October 19[SUP]th[/SUP] 1936,* 4lb 9 ozs,”
The replica case was hand built by Something Fishy, London and is a true representation of a vintage Cooper style case at a fraction of the cost.
