A fine cast Tench in the style of Cooper mounted in a glass bow front gilt lined wooden case measuring 25” x 13” x 5-1/2”, glazed side panels,
blue back drop and fully reeded over gravel and foliage base, paper label to inside top right reads
“ Chub, caught by J.Wilkinson, Hemingford Grey, Cambs, July1st 1951, 5lb 3oz”
The replica case was hand built by Something Fishy, London approx 20 years ago and is a good representation of a vintage Cooper style case at a fraction of the cost and make a great display case for any tackle room or den
