Collection of 3 Rueben Heaton of Birmingham Jardine pattern brass ebonite and German silver fly reels,
Patented December 24th 1888, they are one of the most attracrtive of all collectors reels
,in sizes 3” stamped “HA Murton of Newcastle and Sunderland” with horn handle, constant check and drilled foot,
2 ¼” stamped “Patent 18817”, horn handle and constant check and
an extremely rare 2” example stamped “Patent No. 18817” to face, slotted and drilled foot, light filing to edges,
all have pillar drum cores and multi ventilated spools, fabulous size range set for the collector.
