Early 4 ¼” Slater pattern wood, ebonite and brass Combination reel with 4 screw Slater latch,
single horn handle, small mark opposite where the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] handle could have been, alloy drum flange, ebonite backplate with German silver rim,
brass Bickerdyke line guide, brass star back fitted with optional check button to internal flat coppered calliper spring and steel pawl,
generally good throughout, very decorative for any collectors cabinet, dates c 1890's
