Rare Cooper Case of Two Large Chub

Magnificent and very rare J. Cooper of Radnor Street, tall bow fronted case of two large Chub one a fish of 4lb 7 _ oz caught on the River Wye on 18.6.47 and another of 5lb 3 oz caught on the River Avon at Christchurch on 24.10. 48. Both caught by C. J. Hayes.
Complete with gravel and moss and scale painted to bring out the colours of the fish. Gilt lined and double line of gilt lettering. Case is 71cm by 54cm by 20cm.
